Roy W. Brain :
Roy graduated in 1987 with a First Class Honours Degree, Bachelor of Engineering, from Nottingham University. He became a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2001 and Chartered Engineer in 2002 and more recently has joined the Chartered Institute of Building as an Incorporated Member. He was a founding partner of Calvert Brain & Fraulo, Consulting Structural & Civil Engineers, in January 1994 and since the retirement of Robert Fraulo in 1999 and Mike Calvert in 2004 now owns and runs Calvert Brain & Fraulo Limited. He has significant experience in building and construction generally with specific expertise in the design of building structures and also regularly acts as Party Wall Surveyor in relation to the Party Wall Etc. Act 1996.

Mike Calvert :
Mike established the firm of Calvert Brain & Fraulo in 1994 with Roy Brain & Bob Fraulo.  He graduated from Sheffield University in 1969 and was elected Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 1973 and Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers in 1987.  He is a Chartered Engineer.  He has extensive experience in the design of building structures and has particular interest in farm reservoirs, having been responsible for the design of over twenty such developments during the past fifteen years.  He formally retired from the business in March 2004 and currently has an active role as consultant, particularly in the design and construction of new farm reservoirs.

Jim Stringer :
Jim joined Calvert Brain & Fraulo in July 1999. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers and is a member of the examination panel for the Institution of Structural Engineers Professional Examination Board. He carries out the role of Structural Surveyor investigating and reporting on structural matters, building defects and general construction issues, as well as undertaking contract administration and client liaison on all types of engineering and general building projects, ranging from domestic through to commercial and industrial.

James Luker :
James joined Calvert Brain & Fraulo in 1994. Graduated in 2003 with a 2 : 1 degree in Bachelor of Engineering from Nottingham Trent University. He undertakes the design of all types of building structures and the design of civil engineering works as well as contract administration and client liaison.

John Rasberry :
John joined Calvert Brain & Fraulo in November 1999. He obtained ONC and HNC qualifications in Building and Civil Engineering Studies at NORCAT (College of West Anglia) in 1987 and became an Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 1993. He undertakes detailed structural design in all building materials on projects in the commercial, industrial, educational and residential sectors.

Ryan Baker :
Ryan joined Calvert Brain & Fraulo in 2005 and finished an HNC in Construction in 2008. He carries out all aspects of engineering draughting as part of the engineering design team.
