We are often asked to interpret defects raised in reports by other professionals to identify and comment upon more complex structural defects. We conduct investigations into subsidence in association with insurance companies and loss adjusters, exposing foundations and investigating ground conditions to assist with identification of the cause of movement, thus enabling us to report on the issues and recommend the required remedial works. Where appropriate monitoring of cracks in buildings is undertaken.
We can provide external and internal measured surveys of all types of existing property with survey drawings produced in digital format. We also regularly undertake schedules of condition, recording the current condition of a building prior to planned building work adjacent or nearby, often as part of an appointment as party wall surveyor.
